Senior Desktop Developer (C++)

As a C++ Desktop Developer you will be working for a leading social network company in the center of Amsterdam. This young company has grown to have the largest website in the Netherlands and needs a Developer with Web 2.0 technology experience to join the team of young and motivated Developers from various countries.

In the position of C++ Desktop Developer you will design, code, test and deploy native C/C++/Objective C applications for Windows, Mac and Linux.
Qt is used as the main C++ framework. Desktop applications include applications for location based services, photo browsing & uploading, messages, chat and other social networking features. Development also includes building the backend API's and scaling the serverfarm for mobile apps.

•At least 1 year of programming experience in C++. The developer should have experience in backend development: databases, web development, networking.
•Graduated at the Masters level in computer science, physics, mathematics or electronics
•Broad and deep knowledge on various computer science topics: algorithms, databases, networking, concurrency and scalability
•Excellent English, both written and spoken
