Business Intelligence / Web Developer

As a Business Intelligence / Web Developer you will be working for a leading social network company in the center of Amsterdam. This young company has grown to have the largest website in the Netherlands. The company operates according to a custom Agile development process and works on its own application. You will be working together with Business Intelligence and Sales & Products development. You will have a diverse set of responsibilities, such as maintaining front end, obtaining data, doing data calculations. You will be developing analysis systems and becoming familiar with all aspects of the company.

Tasks & responsilibilies:

• Responsible for the client side of the company;
• Responsible for the internal information flow (like number of members, information about a certain users group);
• You will get accustomed with very aspect of the website (from front to end, from html to database architecture);
• You'll be co-deciding on strategies.

• University degree in IT or any relevant discipline;
• 3 to 5 years experience as a web developer in a creative and technical environment;
• Hands-on experience with (X)HTML, CSS, XML, Javascript, W3C standards;
• Knowledge of PHP/MySQL and one or more other programming languages;
• Experience leading a small team;
• You are flexible and can act upon sudden changes;
• Bonus: experience with Smarty, Prototype and Linux.
